Job Description for AV Sales
Audio Visual Sales Executive/ Manager is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting audio-visual solutions to clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate AV products and systems, and building long-term client relationships to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for audio-visual products and solutions.
- Meet with clients to assess requirements for AV systems (sound, video, conferencing, etc.).
- Present and demonstrate AV products and solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers.
- Collaborate with technical and installation teams to ensure project feasibility.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer information.
- Stay updated on AV industry trends, products, and technologies.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales (AV, IT, electronics, or technology sales preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of audio, video, and control systems is an advantage.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling AV solutions such as conferencing systems, PA systems, projectors, LED displays.
- Familiarity with corporate, education, hospitality, AV projects. Working Conditions and Combination of office work and client site visits.
- Require travel to customer locations and project sites
- 2-3 years of experience in audio visual sales.
