Role Overview (What makes the role unique)

We are looking for a skilled AV Pre-Sales professional to design and propose Audio Visual solutions for enterprise, education, hospitality, government, and corporate customers. The role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, solution design, and business support to drive AV solution sales.

This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with sales teams, OEMs, consultants, and customers to create smart meeting room, boardroom, digital signage, video conferencing, and integrated AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understand customer requirements and provide suitable AV solutions.
  2. Design BOQ, technical proposals, and commercial solution documents.
  3. Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
  4. Prepare AV system architecture, signal flow diagrams, and layouts.
  5. Support sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and demos.
  6. Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for pricing, product selection, and certifications.
  7. Handle RFP/RFQ/Tender responses for AV opportunities.
  8. Deliver technical presentations and proof of concept demonstrations.
  9. Ensure solution compliance with customer requirements and standards.
  10. Work with project delivery teams for smooth handover post order closure.
  11. Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and customers.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 3+ years of experience in AV Pre-Sales / AV Design / Technical Sales.
  2. Strong knowledge of Audio Visual technologies and solutions.
  3. Experience in Video Conferencing, Boardroom AV, Digital Signage, Meeting Room Automation.
  4. Knowledge of displays, projectors, LED walls, microphones, DSPs, control systems.
  5. Ability to prepare technical proposals and BOQs.
  6. Good communication and presentation skills.
  7. Customer-facing experience with enterprise clients.
  8. Knowledge of networking basics related to AV over IP solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Certifications from OEMs like Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Poly, Cisco, Yealink, Barco, Kramer, Harman etc.
  2. Experience in AutoCAD / Visio for AV drawings.
  3. Exposure to smart office and UC collaboration solutions.
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms / Zoom Rooms solutions.
  5. PMP / Project coordination exposure is an advantage.
